Guidance for poster and presentation preparation:

For poster presenters:

  • The poster boards are in portrait format, with maximum dimensions of 1,20 width x 1,70 height. Please prepare your posters to fit these dimensions.
  • Clips to attach the posters to the boards will be available at the registration desk
  • Each poster board will have a label with the corresponding poster number (P1-P37). You can check your poster number on the online programme of your session here: Meeting programme
  • All posters will be displayed for the duration of the conference (Tuesday morning to Thursday evening). Dedicated poster sessions are scheduled every evening, but we encourage presenters to use the coffee and lunch breaks to continue discussions. Please hang your poster on Monday evening or Tuesday morning before the first scientific session starts.

For oral presenters:

  • Regular oral presentations have an allocated time slot of 10 minutes, including questions and changeover. Please plan for an ~8 minutes presentation to leave some time for discussion.
  • Invited oral presentations have an allocated time slot of 20 minutes, including questions and changeover. Please plan for a ~15-18 minutes presentation to leave some time for discussion.
  • The presentation files can be in *.pdf, *.ppt/pptx format, and the screen and beamer are optimized for a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio.
  • Presentations will be shown from a presenter’s laptop in the lecture room. Please upload you presentation via presentation upload tool until 26 August or bring your presentation on a USB stick to the lecture room when you are ready and at least 30 minutes before the start of your session.
